This policy explains what personal information we collect through adamlaporte.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have. As a registrant, Adam LaPorte operates under Royal LePage Binder Real Estate, Brokerage. We only collect personal information that you choose to give us through this website. Depending on which forms you use, that may include:

• Contact details: your name, email address, and phone number, submitted through the contact form, home-valuation request, or a call/consultation booking.
• Property and preference details: information you provide about a home you want to buy or sell, such as an address for a valuation, your budget, preferred neighbourhoods, and the needs/wants you record in the buyer checklist tool.
• Messages: anything you write in a form’s message or notes field.
• Newsletter email: if you subscribe to market updates, the email address you provide.

We do not ask for sensitive information such as your Social Insurance Number, financial account numbers, or government identification through this website. Please do not send that information through the website’s forms.

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide the service you asked for;
• Prepare a home valuation, buyer wishlist, or other material you requested;
• Contact you about buying or selling real estate in Windsor-Essex, and follow up on your request;
• Send you market reports and updates, but only if you subscribed to receive them; and
• Meet our professional and legal obligations as a real estate registrant.

We will only use your information for the purpose you provided it, or for a purpose that a reasonable person would consider consistent with it. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions about you.

Where a form includes a consent checkbox, submitting it confirms that consent. • Our brokerage. As a registrant, we work under Royal LePage Binder Real Estate, Brokerage, and your information may be handled within the brokerage in the course of providing real estate services.

These providers process your information on our behalf and are bound to protect it.
